RUT140 bridge on L2

Hi, I am trying to set up a RUT140 to act as a bridge to some IoT devices. I followed the guide here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTOS_relay_/Wi-Fi_extender/repeater/_bridge_configuration and I am able to make this work however I would prefer to bridge on layer 2 in order for my software to know which device is sending data (identified by source of UDP packet).

Is this possible with this device? Or is there another device that would suit this purpose better? Thank you in advance.

Hello.
Here are some recommendations for your question.

RUT_AP LAN IP 192.168.10.1
RUT_Client LAN IP 192.168.10.2
Enable WDS on RUT_AP and RUT_Client in Advanced settings
link to RUT140 Wireless RUT140 Wireless - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com).

Wi-FI Access-Point config
RUT_AP default creates 1 Access points.
Navigate to WebUI → Network → Wireless, click edit on 2,4Ghz Access-Point interface and set SSID, Password and other settings.Enable WDS.

Wi-Fi Client/STA config

Navigate to WebUI → Network → Interfaces and edit LAN interface.

But when it comes to the WDS bridge, the requirement is that both devices need to support it. that means there should be two RUT140 that would have a WDS bridge. This works with other vendor equipment, like Fortigate too.
Best Regards,
Andrii.
