How do I connect the WiFi to use only the WAN as opposed to WAN/Mobile Network.
My WAN is connected to my ISP LAN.
I have one device (Sensaphone Alarm System), connected to LAN1 on RUT956, that is supposed to use the redundant mobile radio when the ISP is down.
Other devices connected to LAN2 and LAN 3 are to be bridged with WAN interface. LAN2/3 are also supposed to connect to the WAN interface.
In other words, only LAN1 should use both the WAN interface and failover the the Mobile interface.
My suggestions would be to separate LAN1 to a different VLAN ID or use policy based routing. This means that when WAN interface is down, Mobile will be the primary internet source and will then check the routing table where a specific source IP address is specified.
Go to Network → Routing → Policy based routing → Input Name and ID of Table → Interface: LAN → Target: LAN IP. Then add Routing Rules → Priority: 100 → Incoming and outgoing: Any → Source Subnet: IP of device connected to LAN1.
