I have a problem with one of my RUT361. I set up this router recently. The problem is, that the router loose its mobile connection every 01h56 and have systematically a uptime max at 01h56.
I have searched many topics in the community, but I didn’t found a resolution.
I have tried many setting like Firmware router/modem upgrades, firewall settings, and so on.
Firmware version now is : version : RUT361_R_00.07.13.2
I also checked the log files, but i didn’t find any issues in there.
Could you try (if not yet) adding the following option to the mob1s1a1 interface in /etc/config/network to disable DHCP and use a static IP configuration?
Run the following command to edit the network configuration file:
vi /etc/config/network
Press “i” to enter edit mode.
Add the following line under the mob1s1a1 interface section:
After changing the setting, I monitored the connection during the weekend and it is over two hours now.
But regularly the router reboot and I don’t have things like a restart policy and availability is never more than one day now…
I checked with my provider and he told me that everything is fine on his side and the data is consumed on the mobile line.
Another thing, I added an SMS rule to know when the router is disconnected, and when I lose the internet connection, I can still receive an SMS. This proves that the line is up, I think, no ?
I still have the same issue with the 4G connexion…I Downgrade the firmware to test from RUT361_R_00.07.11.3 to RUT361_R_00.07.09.4(Like RUT360) and the pb pb is still present yet.
I tried this solution above: The connection is a little better but after 3 hours it falls. I tried to change the SIM card to another operator (with a new APN) and I have the same issue..
But now I have no ideas, if anyone can help me on this I would really appreciate because I have at least 3 RUT361 and One RUT241 with the same problems
