You know what I don’t understand?
You want the community to help - but your firmware is 5 years old? Really?
Can you please upgrade your firmware first and then we’ll see further.

IMPORTANT:
Go to version 01.14.7 first from here:

RUT240 Firmware Downloads (legacy WebUI) - Teltonika Networks Wiki

And then (depending on the age of your device) you might be able to proceed and go to 07.06.10 from here:

RUT240 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki

But first go to 01.14.7.

I have updated version 01.14.7 first

Good.
Any luck now?
If not, can you upgrade to version 07.06.10?

adding the device
Is it needed to connect device by WiFi, I connected by LAN Cable

Please share some document that supports this kind of communication

Which firmware you’re using now?

Looks like you have a license problem and not a connection problem.
WiFi, cabled WAN, Mobile WAN, everything works to connect to RMS as long as internet access is there, but you need to have a credit (license) for your box in RMS.
RMS is not free-of-charge.
Looks like you had a credit in the past but didn’t renew it?
“Expired license” in your print screen

Hello TeWe
Is it possible by port forwarding and NAT .?

Did you buy a credit (= license) for your box in RMS?
If so, you need to add it to RMS and then your RUT240 will be able to communicate with RMS.

How to add devices to RMS? - Teltonika Networks Wiki

No particular port forwarding or NAT required here.

Hi,

From the screenshot, it’s apparent that the device’s license has expired. This suggests that it was previously registered to RMS, the licenses expired, and the device wasn’t disconnected from the previous company. So, if you want to add this device, you’ll first need to disconnect it from the previous company and add it to your own. Then, you can assign credits or purchase a yearly license.

I am doing TLS certificate generation as mentioned in
https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/OpenVPN_client_on_Windows
and
https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/How_to_generate_TLS_certificates_(Windows)%3F

is it required??

Hello,

Currently, it’s a bit unclear what OpenVPN configuration you have or want to have. Can you explain more clearly which device serves as the server and how they are connected? Also, please let me know where you downloaded the OpenVPN configuration file.

Best regards,

Hello Marijus
Thanks for reply.
The configuration is shown in this video.

I have configured RMS , but still no connection with PLC through RUT240
I downloaded configuration file from RMS and imported in OpenVPN
I have attached logs of it in above chats.
Also My client has purchased the credits but activation code is not yet sent to him its been two days.
Please check as soon as possible, if you need any more details let me know
Thanks

Is anybody supporting or you are waiting to close this issue automatically?

Hi,

Sorry for the late response. Is credit activation issue tied to the RUT240 device or not? If a device does not have RMS credits assigned to RUT240, then connection via the VPN hub won’t happen.

I have reviewed your supplied logs and it seems that there might be connectivity issues. Either because of a general internet connection or an RMS credit issue. Please investigate that.

When dealing with confidential issues as of credit purchase, I would offer to contact us directly via the https://teltonika-networks.com/ “Contact us” form.

Best regards,
