Hi,
I have 10 nos RUT-200 router in my network, distance within a large Industry Mill.
I got network congestion due to overlapping channel, now i have manually change my router channel through Wireless-Radio section, but somehow its not changed. I try many time but its working on channel 3 by default…my router is working on 00.07.11.3 version.please anyone help me…
Hello,
Could you confirm if after changing the 2.4 GHz radio channel via Network → Wireless → Radio → Edit WiFi 2.4 GHz settings, setting the channel to your preferred one, and saving, the channel does not change?
Alternatively, you could try modifying the channel using UCI commands. Here’s how:
- Log in to the router’s CLI;
- Execute the following commands (replacing
11
with your desired channel):
uci set wireless.radio0.channel='11'
uci commit wireless
/etc/init.d/network restart
- Wait for a few moments, then check the WebUI to see if the channel has updated.
I hope this helps. If the issue persists, please let me know, and we’ll explore further troubleshooting steps.
Best regards,
hi,
I have tried given commands through CLI but nothing changed, till channel 3 is selected…
I have uplode 2 images for your reference…
Thank you for the update. Could you please confirm if you have performed a hard reboot of the device (by unplugging the power cable and plugging it back in)? Additionally, could you let us know which country is selected in the Network → Wireless → Radio global settings?
If possible, could you also try performing a factory reset to see if this resolves the issue?
Let me know if this helps or if the issue still persists.
Nothing Changed…all applied as per your advise…
Could you please confirm whether your device does not have a Wireless WAN (WWAN) connection set as the primary internet source? In other words, is your device not connected to another access point (AP) as a client?
If that’s not the case, please complete the form I’ve sent you. Use 11738 as the ticket ID when filling it out. Once submitted, we’ll contact you privately to continue investigating the issue further.
Best regards,
My problem has been solved. My AP was connected to another AP and worked as Client.
After set to single AP, I can change my Channel No.
Thank you sir for your support.
You’re welcome! I’m glad to hear your issue was resolved. If you need further assistance in the future, please feel free to reach out.
Kind regards,
