Is there any way to access routers admin portal remotely without using RMS technology?
Hello,
Here are some other options for connecting to your device from a wide area network (WAN):
- Using a Static Public IP: Set up a static public IP and connect directly to your device from the WAN.
- Using a Dynamic DNS (DDNS): Obtain a public IP and set up DDNS both on the web and your router. This will allow you to access your device from the WAN.
- Setting Up a VPN: Configure a VPN to access your device. Most VPNs require a static public IP or at least a DDNS address, but some, like ZeroTier and WireGuard, can be set up without these.

Best regards,
Do i still need rms portal?
For example, my router 200 is working right now, because i am receiving data from him, but i can’t login to webui through rms because of the connection issue to rms, but i still want to edit some configuration in router settings. so the methods you provided will they work in this situation?
Yes static or public facing IP address is the key and typically used in conjunction with DNS
I got the public IP from ISP. Where do I know specify it router admin panel? In port forwarding?
Hello,
To find your WAN address, follow these steps:
- Go to the Network section.
- Select WAN.
- Check the IP address next to the active WAN interface.
Best regards,
Hi dserik20,
you don’t have to specify your public static IP anywhere in the router, it will be assigned
to the external interface (e.g. mob1s1a1) by your provider when the router establishes a
connection. I’m assuming you’ve set the correct APN.
And you don’t need port forwarding to manage the router. Instead you enable HTTP
(or even better HTTPS) access in
System → Administration → Access Control → WebUI → Enable remote HTTP access
(or Enable remote HTTPS access respectively).
