I have several routers equipped with a German sim card. The fixed IPv6 can, so I set the APN to “festip.telekom”. I am currently in France and travelling to Italy. The RUT241 connects with the same setting, but the TRB500 does not. I have reinstalled the firmware for both (7.10) and only entered the PIN and APN under Mobile.
Unfortunately both react differently, why?
RUT241 works
TRB500 does not

This error occurs when the network does not support a service requested by the device. To potentially resolve this, please try the following steps:
Change the operator or APN manually in Network → Mobile / Connection pages.
Change the PDP type to either IPv4 or IPv4/IPv6 in Network → WAN mob1s1a1 settings.
Restart the mobile connection (Status → Network) after applying the changes.
If the issue persists, try performing a factory reset on the TRB500.

Could you try to set network type in TRB500 to “4G/3G auto”? Maybe module tries to connect to 5G, but roaming plan doesn’t allow to do that? Error indicates that most likely this is the issue.
I have the PDP type IPv4 and IPv6 as well as the setting where both values are included. And the same error occurs with all of them.
I get the following messages “Mobile ESM reject cause: Service option not supported”
I have 100 RUT241 and currently 50 TRB500, all RUT241 do not cause any problem as shown above. All my units have the same Deutsche Telekom SIM card and all have the fixed IP address option. I have been to France, Italy and Austria this week and the problem is the same everywhere. TRB500 is actually my favourite unit. FYI, I have tried changing the SIM cards with the same result.
The TRB 500 cannot connect to the PDP ‘festip.telekom’ which is only ipv6.
