Hi all,
waiting for a response from our end customer about possible substitution of SIM Card, I got a strange ununderstandable situation:
As from RMS Screen, the status of RUT241 seems to be offline (as you can get from screen “Stato RMS del 250721”), when trying to get status by SMS, the same seems to be connected
Thanks in advance for all the support you can give about.
Regards
Good afternoon,
I myself (Teltonika representative) have saved your photos for help to assist you.
However for the sake of public forum, those screenshots have contained a lot of sensitive personal information therefore I have deleted them.
Bear with me, until I give you a technical response.
Regards,
Arturas
Hi there,
In the second photo which shows devices in RMS. In that photo there was three devices. Is the device in question here, the bottom device. I can see that it has an error (letter I in a little triangle) If you hover on that, it will tell you what is the error of device being offline. Please advise us of that error.
Some additional troubleshooting to try:
Check this guide, which covers majority of basic RMS connection issues : Why is my device offline / not activated on RMS? - Teltonika Networks Wiki
If the device has an exclamation mark with an error message, and it states that service is disabled, please enable the service under Administration → Companies → View company details and if credits are available, please toggle the service on.
Please also advise if you have any remaining credits in RMS → Companies → View company details.
Lastly, you mentioned that you already send SMS messages to the device. More commands can be found here : RUT241 Mobile Utilities - Teltonika Networks Wiki
In your case, you can also try:
rms_off
rms_on
rms_connect
rms_status
I would also like to know, when you connect the device to RMS, in WEBUI services->cloud solutions, what error do you get.
Regards,
Arturas
Hi Arturas,
the device with a triangle is a RUT140 which was inserted in the management device list but is not important for our purpose. I’ll delete it from the list to avoid future misunderstanding. Thanks for the advice.
