Hello,
What is the reason why I cannot activate the Paid Connection Data pack 150GB 10y RMS that I purchased?
It says I don’t have enough credits.
Regards,
Gabor

Hello,
Could you please take a screenshot of the error when you’re trying to activate the data pack?
Best Regards,
Thank you for providing the screen recording.
I want to inform you that in order to activate a data pack, your device must also have a credit or management pack. If you have no credits, unfortunately, it will not be possible to activate the data pack.
Best Regards,
Hi Gabor,
I hope this helps clarify your situation:
The issue you’re facing likely stems from the fact that while you have a Paid Connection Data pack of 150GB for 10 years, your RMS credits, which are required to manage and monitor devices through Teltonika’s Remote Management System (RMS), have run out. RMS credits are necessary to activate and use certain features within the RMS platform, including the connection and management of devices.
Here’s a simple breakdown of the difference between a Data Pack and RMS Credits:
Data Pack
• Purpose: Provides mobile data for your Teltonika device (like a router) to connect to the internet.
• Example: You might buy a 150GB Data Pack that lasts for 10 years. This data allows your device to stay connected to the internet wherever there’s cellular coverage.
RMS Credits
• Purpose: Allows you to use Teltonika’s Remote Management System (RMS) to manage and monitor your devices remotely.
• Example: You need RMS credits to access features like checking device status, updating settings, or troubleshooting devices from anywhere using the RMS platform.
Key Difference
• Data Pack: Think of this as the fuel (data) that powers your device’s internet connection.
• RMS Credits: These are like tokens that let you access and use the special remote management features of Teltonika’s platform.
So, even if you have data (a full fuel tank), you still need RMS credits (tokens) to actually manage and control your device through the RMS platform.
If you’re looking for options on where to find RMS credits, there are some reliable sources online that might be worth exploring.
Wish this helps!
