RMS - how to change TOTP authenticator device

Hi,

I’d like to change the 2FA mechanism for an organization’s “master” account (the one that waas created on first registration, the one that cannot be removed and that one that has its role pinned to “administrator” without a way to change") away from my personal smartphone to the NOC smartphone they have for exactly those reasons.

I cannot find an option to do so in the account’s settings. Do I need to change the 2FA scheme away from TOTP, to e-mail, for example, and then back to TOTP? Or is there an option to just enroll a new device, enter a code from the old device to get shown a new registration QR code?

You are correct. To change the device used for TOTP codes, you would need to switch the authentication method to either email or none, then change it back to TOTP and complete the setup on the new device.
