Restore config from old firmware

Hi community

I have created a RUT240 (FW: RUT2XX_R_00.01.14.4)
config backup following this guide:

Now I want to restore it on this FW (RUT2_R_00.07.06.3)

Is this possible?

I wouldn’t recommend it. The best way would be to revert to the older firmware, restore the backup, update the firmware, and hope for the best.

In technical support, we do not recommend performing this backup. “backup files created on devices with newer firmware cannot be uploaded to devices using an older firmware version”
