When I try to upload the latest WebUI firmware (e.g. RUT2_R_00.07.06.19_WEBUI.bin) through the recovery page, I always get: “Error: Incorrect checksum.”

It seems this unit only accepts a .FACTORY image, not the WEBUI one.
Could you please provide the correct RUT240 .FACTORY firmware image for recovery, or direct me to the official download link?
To briefly explain, you need to upgrade to the newest legacy firmware, then upgrade to a lower RUTOS version, and then upgrade to the newest RUTOS version, due software nature of the device.
The issue is that my RUT240 is currently only booting into the firmware recovery page (bootloader). In this mode, the device rejects all WebUI images with “Incorrect checksum” and requires a proper FACTORY image to recover.
On the wiki link you provided I can only see WebUI firmware images, but there are no .FACTORY.bin files available for download. Without a factory image, I cannot start the upgrade path you described.
Could you please provide me with a direct download link to the correct RUT240 FACTORY firmware image (e.g. 00.01.14.7_FACTORY.bin or other compatible version), so that I can flash it via the recovery page and then continue with the upgrade steps?
Are correct and you can upgrade your firmware with them. So if you follow the provided instructions, and firstly upload the newest legacy firmware, and then try to install it, thats when you get the error?
The device may have not booted correctly, please switch off the device, or reset it normally, and then try to put the device in the bootloader state again, and try to upload the firmware again, as I have just tried this method and it has worked for me.
I have already tried uploading the newest legacy firmware (RUT2XX_R_00.01.14.7_WEBUI.bin) through the recovery page multiple times. Each time, I receive the same message: “Incorrect checksum”. I also repeated the process as you suggested (full power off, entering bootloader state again, different browser/PC), but the result is the same.
Is there a possibility that my unit requires a FACTORY image instead of the WEBUI one? If such an image exists, could you please provide me with a direct download link? This would allow me to proceed with the upgrade path you mentioned.

Following up on the previous conversation, I can see that the issue might still be present. The reason for the “incorrect checksum” is still unknown, even after reading your previous conversation, therefore I have to ask the following:

Next, are you sure that the firmware file you’re uploading is this one:

Finally, even if after all of these checks the problem persists, please provide me the image of your screen & the error message and we’ll investigate this issue further.
