Replacement copy of admin password request?

Hi forum,
I installed a TRB500 this week above a rooftop and forgot to take a photo of the device label and so I do not have the admin password. Manufacturers often include a second label within the box which is a copy of the information on the device. Seems not the case with Teltonika.

Is it possible we can obtain this with the serial number or some other device management tool please?

Unfortunately, the administrator password is only included on that label. Is it possible for you to get the QR code from that label?

This prevents hackers and registered owners should have better data management policies if they are only relying on forgetting to take a photo. Besides the admin password MUST be changed at first login and nobody would install a router on a roof top without first testing/setting up the system … would they?

The QR code from the device label or the box? I have the QR from the box which just reports ‘no useful data’ so this must only be for scanning /shipping, trying to avoid having to get back to the device itself.
I believe Teltonika will provide the password from the serial and IMEI number via the supplier and I’ll be able to add it to RMS directly.

@shoei600 To add devices to RMS, it is only possible by typing the device’s name, serial number, IMEI, and the device’s password. Therefore, you have to go to the device directly to get the password and change it (there’s no other way to obtain the password). After that, you will be able to add it to RMS.
