Remote Server login over RMS issues

Hi Folks, I have done some searching but cannot find this particular issue covered…

I have a standalone server (Linux) attached to a RUTX50 on a 4G network.

Locally connecting to that server (from its IP/Port) from a browser works fine.

However, when accessing via RMS, whilst I am presented with the UI, and credentials can be typed, nothing else happens.

Is there a setting blocking the passing of the login credentials that I’m missing?

Hello,

RMS Connect doesn’t block any access to devices by default. If it did, you wouldn’t be able to access the server UI where credentials could be typed in. I would advise checking your Linux server and its logs. Maybe it is rejecting unauthorized connections or outside connections in general.
