Remote activation of TRB500 5G

Seek your assistance regarding an issue I encountered with the RMS portal and my TRB 500 5G. My router after the end of trial period become offline in RMS portal. Unregister my device as thought this will solve the problem, while in the meantime purchase 5 years management pack and assign it to my account. Register the device again successfully. However, the auto process of activation didn’t work and the router remains inactive.

This device is the router at my summer house, and I’m unable to be physically present to press the connect button via the UI as the support documentation suggests.

Could the RMS engineers provide a remote activation for this device? Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Since you’re unable to access the router physically, you could try sending an SMS message to the router with the following text:

<admin password> rms_connect

If that doesn’t resolve the issue, you can try disabling and re-enabling the RMS service using these SMS commands:

<admin password> rms_off

Wait a few moments, then send:

<admin password> rms_on

Then you can check the RMS connection status with:

<admin password> rms_status

Thank you for the guide.
It looks like i forgot the admin password as the one it is in the back of the router doesn’t work.
Is there any other way remotely to reset the admin password to default, except to reset the device physically ?

Unfortunately, in your case there’s no way to remotely reset the admin password to default. If you’ve lost the admin password, the only option is to perform a physical factory reset on the device.
