Hi - apologies if I have missed any settings that achieve what i’m after.
Both to do with column sorting on the main dashboard. It would be lovely if the sort order could be persistent. For example, I sort the device “Name” column. When I click into a device (do some actions) and then click back to the main page the sorting is lost.
I know the work around is to launch the device into another tab, but…
Also, having added “Mobile Connection Uptime” column - the sorting doesn’t seem to work at all.
Thanks.
Hi Laura.
please see the above. When sorted (as indicated by the icon on the column header) these units are erroneous entries.
3 of them have been uncontactable due to SIM issues and 1 has been disabled from monitoring.
I assumed that “Uptime” is received from the router when it checks in? Have I misunderstood the metric?
To clarify, yes, “Uptime” is received from the router itself.
To explain why the offline devices have uptime - it is because you are seeing the latest received data.
Under “page settings”, if you create a new preset and under “parameters” include the “Information updated at” toggle, you will see that those devices have been off, and you are simply seeing the last gotten information before the device went offline.
Regarding why the highest uptime entries are at the bottom, we were able to re-create the issue and have also passed this to our RnD team for further analysis and will let you know once we receive a response.
As for your original request for persistency with the collumns, we have received a response that the team is looking into it, although they have not provided an ETA.
