Problem with connection - RUTX50

I have a new Teltonika RUTX50. I configured it to bridge mod with dhcp enabled. I want my network to be secured mainly by the MikroTik routerboard RB3011UiAS-RM device, where I connected it via the LAN1 port and turned on the DHCP client for Teltonika. Since the Mikrotik has a default gateway of 192.168.1.1, I set the LAN to 192.168.10.1 on the Teltonica. In my opinion, the quality of the signal is stable for 5G.

• LTE B20 - RSRP, RSRQ, SINR - -88, -14,13

• LTE B3 - RSRP, RSRQ, SINR - -107.-8.5

• 5G N1 - RSRP, RSRQ, SINR - -86,-11,15.

• Signal strength (dBm) -58 Excellent

The problem is that it does not work when loading pages or connecting to the Internet. It works for a while after restarting Teltonika and then it stops after few minutes. Sometimes it starts without restart, but very rarely. The download itself is also ping to web sides. I turn off all settings for failover and others. I also have a second internet which was primary and I also turned it off during the experiments. But I want to use teltonika connection as primary. Would you be able to advise me on what could be the problem? I also tried FE and uploading a new FW - I currently have RUTX_R_00.07.06.6

Direct connection is okey, without Mikrotik … but I need connetion over Mikrotik. It looks like the bridge mode is not behaving like a bridge. I set MAC adress Mikrotik in bridge mod settings in Teltonika.

Hello,

While the signal is not ideal, it should be more than enough to access the internet. As for the issue itself:

• Make sure nothing else is connected to the RUTX50. This could cause another device get leased an IP of the mobile interface, and the Mikrotik could lose internet access. Disabling WiFi on RUTX50 is also a good idea;

• Make sure the MAC address configured on the RUTX50 Bridge configuration is of the WAN interface from Mikrotik;

• Once the issue occurs:

  • From the Mikrotik side try pinging 1.1.1.1. If it does not respond, try tracerouting and check where the packets get dropped.
