I am currently working with a new RUTX11 US model router and have encountered an issue while attempting to upload an US version backup file to the device. Both the new and previous routers are operating with the same firmware version, RUTX_R_00.07.07.3.
I have encountered same issue related to the latest mass firmware version.
Could you please provide insights into the potential root cause of this issue and suggest any possible workaround solutions?
I would like to bring to your attention that while using the RUTX11 EU model, I have not encountered any issues similar to those experienced with the RUTX11 US model.
EU model has consistently performed without any complications.
To put it simply, the backup that is being uploaded onto the device needs to have been generated on a device that is:
The same firmware
The same order code
The same model (falls under the order code)
For example, you cannot upload a RUTX11 EU version backup onto a RUTX11 US version.
Once these conditions are met, you should have no issues. For your specific case, the RUTX11 US & EU version codes are as follows:
RUTX11 EU: RUTX11 0*****
RUTX11 US: RUTX11 1 *****; RUTX11 3 *****
Does this mean that both devices must start the product code in the same way? For example, RUTX11 3***? So I can’t upload a backup file made with RUTX11 1*** product code device?
