Problem adding external administrators

Hi, I can’t figure out why I can’t add my account as an administrator to another company. Specifically, I use the email address listed for my company and my modems. The other company, whose RMS console screen you see, can’t add me as an external administrator. The error listed is that the email is already in use. Why?

Unfortunately, to invite a new user to your company, the user must not already be registered on RMS.
If you would like to proceed with deleting the existing user account, please let me know.

Forgive me, but this logic is not clear. I have a user that I would like to use to manage my company and to be able to “enter” to view other external companies. Otherwise it would not make sense to allow access to external users.
What is the most correct way to configure everything?

Unfortunately, the same email address cannot be used to manage multiple companies in RMS. However, RMS supports plus addressing, which can help in this case.

When inviting an existing RMS account to a different company, instead of using youremail@mail.com, you can use youremail+company1@mail.com. Emails from all RMS companies will still be delivered to youremail@mail.com, but RMS will treat youremail@mail.com and youremail+company1@mail.com as separate accounts.
