PPTP server on RUT241

Dear support,

i can’t configure this setup:

what i need:
SIM m2m loaded in rut241 with custom apn [done]
RUT241 act as pptp vpn server: configured

my public ip from a device connected via lan from rut241 : 151.99..
sim ip detected from rut241 with custom apn loaded: 10.168..

i’ve also tried to use a ddns and use the ddns as server addres in ppt: not working, even ping not working;

if i try to connect with a vpn pptp client (windows) to rut241 i can’t enstablish it;

any suggestion?

in summary please let me know if it works:
the rut should do the pptp server accepting clients via ddns (since it has a sim) ; clients connected should reach lan connected to the rut241

please confirm

right now it does not work;

the pptp configuration for server is done, the ddns is done, even connected via direct public ip of the sim it doesnt work for any client that attempts

As follow up from your remote management system a vpn hub works and connect to the rut .

Still can’t make the pptp config works if done manually on the device with pptp

Hi @gyu9,

if your RUT241 detects a 10.176.x.y or 10.16.x.y
address on its mob1s1a1 interface then it does
NOT have a public ip address but only a CGNAT
(i.e private) one.
You have to talk to your provider and/or check your
APN settings.
