Looking to set up the router RTU241 for remote BMS access.

Can I set up HTTP traffic port forwarding?
UDP Port: 47808.

Also looking to find the public IP address for BMS set up?

Yes, you can set up the required port forwarding on your RUT241 router by going to Network → Firewall → Port Forwards.

Could you please clarify if I understand your setup correctly? Are you aiming to forward requests from port 47808 on the WAN to port 80 (HTTP) on your BMS device, or in reverse?

The public IP address of your router can be found on the Network → WAN page, under the mob1s1a1 interface.

I think i have to forward to 47808 on the BMS device

Please replace “BMS IP address” with your BMS’s LAN IP.

The public IP address of your router can be found on the Network → WAN page, under the mob1s1a1 interface.

This address changed from yesterday to today, I’m looking for the public IP address to be static to allow remote connection?

If you’re looking to have a static public IP address to enable consistent remote connections, then you should contact your ISP, as they are the ones who can provide this service.
