I configured a VPN hub for accessing to a Siemens PLC through a RTU241 installed remotely. For the first 2 minutes the VPN access worked (I could ping the PLC address) but after that I can not access again. If I create again the VPN hub happens the same…
If I create a remote connection I can access to the PLC webserver, but thats all.
Any idea where is the problem?
Follow all the steps carefully shown in Teltonika’s video tutorial.
And especially make sure that LAN access is enabled for the specific client:

I followed the instructions according the video and it does not work. The funny thing is if I create a quick hub it works for some time but after it stops working and I need to create it again…

Is your RUT241 running on the latest software version?
Firmware RUT2M_R_00.07.09
This is good.
Can you one more time go back to factory defaults
and make sure you’re running on IPv4 only and Auto APN afterwards
If you then carefully configure again according to the video it should work.
I personally did exactly the same yesterday and it’s working like a charm - using RUTX50’s though but also software 07.09.
