I have just purchased two OTD140. My plan was to run POE to the first router, then daisy chain the second router from the first, taking POE from it (and possibly adding a third in the future) The specs say this should be fine (max consumption <6w, max POE passthru 15w) but the second device fails to show any activity.
Plugging a different POE device in instead of the second router shows there is power on the cable. Connecting the second router directly to a POE switch results in it starting correctly, and it’s second port being able to power other devices but not another OTD140.
Power is from a 30w POE+ port
Is this a known issue with these devices. Is there any hope of a firmware fix or will I have to run an extra ethernet cable to the mast?
