Dear All,
RUTX50
I am not able to see the end user IP after disabling Masquerading and frame routing. Also tried by enabling frame routing and policy in firewall. Speed is good but the end user ip is not visible. It gives the SIM ip address. Can you suggest what can be done in this case.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out.
Could you please clarify if I understood correctly: is your end device connected to the RUTX50 LAN receiving a public IP address from your ISP? Perhaps you have selected Bridge or Passthrough mode on your Mobile interface (under Network → WAN)? If so, please try switching to NAT mode instead.
Additionally, if possible, could you try performing a factory reset on your RUTX50 to see if this resolves the issue?
Best regards,
Already it was in NAT mode with frame routing enabled and firewall zone policy set to frame reject in which maquerading is disabled. If i enable frame routing and disable the NAT in frame reject policy i get speed less than 1 Mbps. If i enable the NAT it gives speed above 100 Mbps. In this case if NAT is disable the end user IP which is connected to RUTX50 will show the traffic from the end device ip on the firewall.
