No access from Lan-ip to Lan-ip on RUTM11

I have installed the RUTM11 successfully. All devices can be reached via ZeroTier. The devices in LAN interface are not to be accessed from other device in the same interface.
Ping is ok from CLI and from remote PC (via ZeroTier), but not from other connected device.

  • Device name RUTM11
  • Product code RUTM1100XXXX
  • Firmware version RUTM_R_00.07.15.2
  • Kernel version 6.6.87

Thank you for any help.

Hi there,

Thank you for your patience.

In the first instance. I wanted to clarify what devices you use? Maybe you can draw or describe your topology.

If all devices are connected to the RUTM11 Lan, and are in the same subnet, they should be able to communicate. Only a static route may be needed.

Arturas

Hi there,

Addition to the previous comment:

Can you advise how in your configuration you are utilizing zerotier? What exactly you are trying to do with it?

Regards,

Hello Arturas,

my RUTM11 is located in my Motor-Home.
at home connected to my home-WLAN to the interfaces wifi1 and wifi2
away from home connected to mob1s1a1

these devices are connected to the router:

Interface Hostname Address connected to
lan iPhone-Womo 192.168.1.241 RUT_2FE6_5G (wireless)
lan shellyplug-s 192.168.1.128 RUT_2FE5_2G (wireless)
lan raspi-3 192.168.1.156 LAN1 (wired)

no static routes are configured

ZeroTier network configuration:
Port: 9993 Bridge to: None Allow managed IP: on

in my ZeroTier Network are 8 members authorized, among others:

Name managed IPs
RUTM11 10.147.17.12 + 192.168.1.1
Raspi3 10.147.17.42 + 192.168.1.156
iPhone-Womo 10.147.17.145
New-Office-PC 10.147.17.104

Via these IPs I can connect to all all devices connected to the Router, mainly

  • to the Raspi Port 8083, running Fhem home automation system
  • to the RUTM11 for administration
  • to the shellyplug-s to control energy consumption and switching

No connection is possible between any devices connected to the router RUT_2FE6_5G or RUT_2FE5_2G and to the device at LAN1.

Thanks in advance for your professional advice
Wolfgang
