Network client - Wireguard VPN allowing lan access

Hello quick question, I am sure this would be possible but not to sure how to go about it.

We have a client with a starlink on a remote site, and we would like access to devices on there LAN.
They have users on the site accessing devices and replacing the starlink router is out of the question currently.

Though was to have a RUTX08 wireguard back to a host (mikrotik CHR in AWS), then we can route that subnet to the RUTX08.

Can the WAN port on the X08 dial out the VPN connection, then act as the LAN port as well ?

Hi EWR,
Please note I’m no expert at this so take my input only as suggestion.

I have a similar setup working locally, however using the WLAN on my RUT956.
The major difference I have is that all my remote devices are also on my Wireguard network to which they connect directly.
I have never tried connecting from a wireguard client to another system using an intermediate wireguard client as gateway. I would be concerned about my routing tables to get the above to work, so instead I simply connect to a system on the remote location which is a named wireguard network client, and on which I installed rust desktop server. That then allows me to work there and connect to whatever I need.

Thank for your reply Chris,

We have an application running offsite that needs to access devices on the remote LAN.
Connecting to a terminal on site wont work in this instance.

I know I can do this with a mikrotik, might just go down that path but would rather the teltonika & RMS
