Hello, I’m new to the forum, but I’ve been using devices for several years now, and I already have over 120 devices under my care.
As we know, the NIS2 directive is coming into force in Europe, and cybersecurity is becoming critical. Device monitoring is essential.
It’s even more surprising that the manufacturer, TELTONIKA, doesn’t have an official plugin – a Zabbix agent. The WRT solution, which is not officially supported, only works temporarily, as it needs to be reconfigured after each reboot.
My question is: does the manufacturer plan to address this issue, or will they continue to encourage people to purchase RMS?
I would appreciate a factual and specific answer regarding product development and interoperability with platforms like ZABBIX.

@snake game Hello, From what I’ve seen, Teltonika has been heavily pushing Remote Management System (RMS) as their primary monitoring solution, which likely explains the lack of an official Zabbix agent. That said, many users in similar situations are leveraging SNMP or custom API integrations as a more stable alternative to WRT-based setups. It would definitely be helpful if Teltonika could provide a roadmap or at least confirm whether native Zabbix integration is being considered.
