Modbus - RTU - TRB256 Reading Values

Hello,

I am trying to write/read values from a deye hybrid inverter using a TRB256, as a RTU Client.

I have set the correct settings and have checked connectivity through a USB to Serial connection.

But when testing registers, I i get “Failed to test request, check your configuration”

Do anyone have any tips on how to proceed with troubleshooting?

Hello,

Since you are using RS485 in half-duplex mode, make sure that R+ and D+, as well as R- and D- are bridged like so:

If this is not the case, could you also share a screenshot of the Modbus Client configuration, as well as request configuration?

The gateway has been bridged accordning to the image posted.
