HI.
I have a RUTx50 and sim card in sim1.
Prior to updating the firmware I was not getting this error: -
“Mobile ESM reject cause: Multiple PDN connections for a given APN not allowed.”
I have rebooted and defaulted the router. Still getting the same.
Is there a firmware fix or can I roll back to the default firmware.
Or is there a config I can change?
Firmware loaded = RUTX_R_00.07.07.3
Thanks
Hi @martin_rutx I recommend you check which APN you are using. You should be found this settings under Network → WAN → Edit on mob1s1a1 interface.
Then, if ‘Auto APN’ is enabled, you can disable it and type the right one.
If it doesn’t work and you remember which firmware you were using before, you can tell me the version and I can send it to you.
Kind regards.
Hi @faquevedog ,
thanks for your help. Unfortunately, I didn’t make a note of the previous firmware. It is a new unit so what ever the factory installed firmware would have been.
Do you know if there is a location where I can download alternative / previous versions?
I tried manually setting the apn but I still have the same problem
many thanks
Hi, try to change PDP type to IPv4 under mob1s1a1 settings. By the way, is this the only mobile interface?
hi @iBoucher
Thanks for your reply!
there is only 1 mobile interface. I will change the settings you suggest and report back.
thanks
Hi @martin_rutx this is the link : RUTX50 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki . Please let me know if your device works well after the firmware rollback.
I am also constantly getting this error on firmware RUTX_R_00.07.07.3 unfortunately.
Apologies, I had the other SIM slot enabled but no sim in place. I’ve disabled it and the message has gone.
thanks @Alix6815 I stilll get the message … so I changed to sim2 and the message has gone away also.
thanks to others in the community that helped
