Mobile 5GMM reject cause: N1 mode not allowed

Hiya

I wonder if you can help me. I have an RUTX50 that is coming up with Mobile 5GMM Reject cause: N1 mode not allowed. This is with firmware RUTX_R_00.07.23.7. But works perfectly fine with RUTX 00.07.17.4.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have an EE sim installed in the UK.

So with the latest firmware I can only use 4G not 5G network.

Update it seems that now the 5G has just been blocked after running for 30mins on my old firmware.

I am using a private 5G SIM card (5G SA), and when I search for available networks, I can see the private 5G network; however, it never associates or registers with it. I am using the same firmware version, RUTX_R_00.07.23.7.

Unfortunately I can only connected to a 4G band, if I restart the connection it will try and connect to the 5G network but just disconnects with the above error message. Never had any problems until recently. I have a 5G router that can’t connect to 5G network…….

I noticed a post back in March that they had a fix but unfortunately this is not available to download.

I just tried using RUTX 00.07.17.4, but it didn’t work in my case either.

When I downgraded to RUTX 00.07.17.4 it started working, I had the 5G bands showing and had the speeds of 80-100mb. I thought that was a temporary fix, however it went off for a few seconds after half hour, then no 5G once again. I’ve had this problem for awhile, but haven’t had the chance to get to the bottom of it.

It will be interesting to find out who else has this issue…. If there isn’t a fix then this product is mis-sold if it’s not capable of delivering 5G connectivity anymore.

I need you to please look into my issue, my RUTX50 will not connect to the 5G network.

I got a message coming up with Mobile 5GMM Reject cause: N1 mode not allowed.

I have the latest modem firmware RG501QEUAAR12A11M4G.

The system firmware is RUTX_R_00.07.24.1.

It has also had a full factory reset. If it can’t do 5G this is no use to me.
