Mesh network based on Ethernet connection

Hi, is it possible to organize mesh network based on Ethernet connection between routers? The mesh gateway connects to the mesh nodes via cable, while other devices in the network connect to the mesh routers via Wi-Fi.

Hi!

Yes.

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to set up a mesh network using Ethernet connections. You can refer to the following resources for guidance:

While these resources primarily discuss wireless mesh setups, they should also be helpful for configuring a mesh based on Ethernet connections.

If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out!

Best regards,

Can you provide more information? I read given examples on Wiki above, but those show that MESH network (the one connecting the mesh nodes only, not all other devices) can be configured on Wireless tab, hence this is via WiFi.

How to change it that mesh nodes talk to each other via ethernet cable instead?
I have possibility to connect routers via ethernet, so I would preffer mesh nodes to tak to each other via cable, while other devices can switch wifi APs.

Thanks in advance for further clarification.
