The md5sum at the download site is incorrect.

please, download the fw, generate the md5sum and check yourself.

I hope this message finds you well,

I have an update from our R&D team. Checksum provided in the SDK download page is just for the SDK itself and is intended to verify that GPL archive is the same one as provided on our Wiki. Once you extract the archive and compile the firmware, md5 with of course change.

The correct way to test this is to download the GPL file, and then without any modifications check it using Linux command or site like MD5 File Checksum to make sure checksum matches what’s on our Wiki.

Please test it yourself:

  1. download TSW2_R_00.01.08.1_WEBUI.bin from TSW212 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki
  2. calc md5sum pf download
  3. compare to MD5 sum at TSW212 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki

en tell me they are the same or not. They are not unless I do something wrong.

With the release of TSW2_R_00.01.08.2_WEBUI.bin this has become academic. But again the md5 at the download website does not match the calculated md5 of the download itself:

My calculated md5: 6c5d0cd1dbe02b95cb67a06342ead3c0

which matches when I upgrade in a TSW202:

When downloaded in TSW202: 6c5d0cd1dbe02b95cb67a06342ead3c0

Please make sure that your checksums are correct, this way it defeats it purpose.
