MAC filtering on TSW202

Hi,

I noticed this announcement of the MAC filtering feature: TSW202 Mac Adress Filtering - #3 by Arnoldas

I also noticed the availability of this feature in the web interface where I can activate it, but how is this supposed to work? I don’t see a field to provide the whitelisted or blacklisted MAC. Am I looking over something?

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

The MAC Filtering feature can be found in the switch WebUI by navigating to Network → Ports → MAC Filter. To configure it, select the desired port and click on the Edit Ports icon, as shown in the screenshot below:

Once the MAC Filter Settings window opens, you can add whitelisted MAC addresses in the Allow List field:

If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out.

OK, I overlooked that part, thanks a lot!

Is only whitelist possible, no blacklist?

Other suggestion: wouldn’t it be good to have a whitelist for DHCP servers and block all other DHCP offers?

Thanks
