I’m seeking to display, monitor and control child devices connected to the RUT906 and TRB143 using the Cumulocity service. I have connected the router and gateway to the Cumulocity service with the default lua configuration files as implemented from factory.
I have retrieved the stream.lua & the srtemplate.txt files from both devices. Looking through them I can see that they define what is visible and what permissions are given to the Cumulocity interface.

The above link has been very useful, but I feel that I am missing a piece of the puzzle. How do I read a register in a child device and upload to Cumulocity? It seems I need to create a function and then call the function from within the lua script.
A pointer would be greatly appreciated.
