Is support for Zerotier dead?

Hi all

Very encouraged to keep seeing new releases of firmware; just seen RUTX_R_00.07.08 release notes.

Poor old ZeroTier package is still stuck on .10 whereas .12 has been out for almost a year. Yet TailScale and others keep getting updated packages.

Do I sense that Teltonika are dropping support for ZeroTier? It’s the only VPN I’ve found that works behind CGNAT and I rely on it!

Thanks

Jim

Hello,

We are definitely not dropping support for Zerotier. Zerotier will be updated in due course. Additionally, Tailscale also works behind CGNAT, providing VPN options that do not require a static IP. We acknowledge the need for an updated Zerotier package and will consider this for future firmware versions.

Best regards,

Hello,

I come with good news: in the next few firmware updates, the Zerotier package will be updated.

Best regards,

Oh that’s fantastic, thank you!!!

It does seem like ZeroTier support might be lagging behind compared to other VPN options. Consider reaching out directly to Teltonika support for clarification on their plans for ZeroTier updates.
