IPv4 connectivity started to fail

Hi,

I have a RUTX50 which is regularly dropping internet connection. The logs show “IPv4 connectivity started to fail”.

The device is unreachable over the network when this happens. The only way to fix is a reboot. I am able to reboot with SMS utilities.

Can anyone help, its driving me mad!

Thanks

Hello,

Could you please let us know which RutOS firmware version is installed on your device, as well as the modem firmware version? This information can be found in the WebUI under System → Firmware → Update firmware.

Best regards,

Hi

  • Firmware build date

  • Internal modem firmware version

Thanks

Greetings,

Could you perhaps clarify what operator is being used & what country the device is located in? While the issue is present & during normal, and operational times, what signal strengths are you getting? These can be viewed in the device WebUI, under Status → Network → Mobile

Regards,
M.

The errors are generated by the Internet Status feature under Network. Disabling it with stop the messages in my experience.

Operator: EE

United Kingdom

Hello, I’ve removed your image for security purposes (some sensitive details were visible).

Looks like the issue is recurring with the EE operator specifically. And for that reason, I’d like to collect the troubleshooting file from your device. To do that, I’ve sent you a form to fill out, which you will find in your e-mail inbox that you’ve registered your forum account with. In the “ticket ID” field, kindly fill out the ID of your thread, which is 16046

Regards,
M.
