IP Alias on LAN port

Hi There,

Still new to Teltonika.

I need to configure an IP Alias on the LAN port for the CCTV cameras, working on existing firewall, I do not find the same sort of option to configure it on the Teltonika RUTX08.

LAN IP = 192.168.1.0/24

CCTV IP = 192.168.50.0/24

I find some very conflicting or old documentation - none working for me.

The router firmware is on 7.19.4

Please advise.

In the newer firmware, there is no specific option labeled “IP Alias.” Instead, you achieve the same result by simply creating a separate LAN interface .

If your cameras already have static IP addresses assigned, please remember to turn off DHCP on this new interface to avoid conflicts.

Hi Justinas,

To confirm - this will be a virtual Interface, not a physical LAN port on the RUTX08?
We are using 3 x WAN ports, only one single LAN port.

Yes, that single physical LAN port will now listen for traffic on both your primary subnet (e.g., 192.168.1.x) AND this new CCTV subnet (192.168.50.x) simultaneously.
