Incorrect action names in the traffic rules - RUT9(M)_R_00.07.06.1

On RUT955/956 with firmware RUT9M_R_00.07.06.1/RUT9_R_00.07.06.1, in Network > Firewall > Traffic Rules, the action names are mixed up:

  • When a zone is selected for the destination, the action is (for example) Reject input - Reject forward is expected
  • When Device (input) is selected for the destination, the action is (for example) Do not track forward - Do not track input is expected

I don’t know in which firmware version exactly this issue did appear the first time. I’m sure the issue wasn’t present on RUT956 with RUT9M_R_00.07.05 firmware.

Indeed, I have managed to replicate the issue and reported it to our RnD team. It should be noted, that this is only a visualization issue and should not affect the functionality of the Traffic Rules.
