Hello @Kplk,

Thank you for reaching out.

To assist you more effectively, could you please provide a bit more detail on the setup and confirm the following:

  1. Which firmware version is currently installed on these devices? If it’s an older one, make sure to update it to the latest RutOS 7.13.4 firmware.
  2. Could you clarify your setup a bit more:
  • Are the routers acting as WireGuard peers connecting to an existing server?
  • Is the cellular (LTE) connection intended to be the primary source for the VPN tunnel?
  • How stable is the LTE connection with your ISP?
  1. You mentioned implementing a “killswitch” firewall rule; could you share the rule configuration you’ve applied?

Best regards,

Tanks for the respons.

1 Firmware is the latest one.

2 the router acting as a peer and we use proton pvn as a server.

Celure is intent to by the backup for the wan. On the wan we have starlink or land line or oneweb or bgan ect.

Lte is stable.

We have a blocknonvpn rule in the firewall rule this works but it takes to long if the wan conection go,s down.

Hello,

Apologies for the delay. May I kindly ask if the initial issue you experienced has been resolved? If not, as I understand from your description, you’re running a failover setup where the wired WAN is the primary connection and the mobile WAN serves as the backup.

Could you please confirm whether the “Flush connections” options (Network → Failover) are enabled on both failover interfaces?

Looking forward to your feedback.

Best regards,
