How to restart the ddns via bash RUT240

Hi I wasm wanting to restart the ddns service via bash.

I note the above post link:with the advice "Yes, it is possible, you can start or stop the DDNS service using the command “service ddns start/stop”. You can check if the failover is active by using the command “ip route”,

but “service” does not seem to be recognised command on RUT240.

any advice appreciated.

Hello,

It seems like these commands are either legacy commands or just a generalized form of pseudo code. With the current firmware, accomplishing this should be quite straightforward. You can achieve it by executing this command via SSH or CLI:

/etc/init.d/ddns restart

Best regards,

Marijus
