How to connect Panorama Antennas 4x4 to RutX50?

Hi, is there a correct order to connect the cable (A,B,C,D) of the Panorama Antennas mimo 4x4 to the RutX50 (there is no preferred mark on the router).
How the WiFi cable from the Panorama Antennas should be connected? One from Panorama Antennas (outside camper) and the other WiFi antenna inside?

Best regards
Claus

Hello,

There isn’t a mandatory or fixed order for connecting the LTE/5G cables from your Panorama Antennas MIMO 4x4 to the SMA connectors on the RUTX50. You can simply connect all the mobile cables as they should function as a MIMO array, and the router will handle signal processing accordingly.

For reference, if you’d like to follow a recommended connection layout (especially for testing purposes if you know which cables cover specific frequency ranges), you could use the one suggested below (according to 5G / LTE band preferences):

  • MAIN to ANT0 and ANT3
  • AUX to ANT1 and ANT2

Regarding the WiFi antennas, it’s mostly a matter of personal preference. You can choose to:

  • Connect one Panorama WiFi cable and keep one stock WiFi antenna indoors for local coverage.
  • Or, if the Panorama antenna’s WiFi gain is higher than the stock antennas, you might get better performance by using it alone, especially in open areas.

I would suggest starting with both stock antennas and then testing signal strength and coverage with the Panorama WiFi antenna connected to compare performance.

If any further questions come up, feel free to reach out.

Best regards,

Thank you very much!

Claus
