How can disable VLAN on RUT200/241

how can disable VLAN RUT200 RUT241?

can’t delete vlan 1 and vlan 2.

Hello,

You cannot delete VLAN1 and VLAN2 interfaces because they are linked to the physical LAN and WAN ports. However, you can disable them by switching the desired one to “Off” (refer to screenshot below).

Please keep in mind that if you disable LAN on VLAN1 or WAN on VLAN2, the RUT241 won’t receive a WAN IP, and any device connected via LAN cable won’t get a LAN IP either. In this case, you’ll still be able to access the RUT241 remotely (with public IP) or through WLAN (for wirelessly connected devices).

I hope this clears things up.

Best regards,

thanks,

The problem is that if I disable it like this, there is no internal network.

The question is it necessary to configure something else like LAN or DHCP?

Hello,

Could you please provide more details regarding your use case and what you’re trying to achieve? This would help us assist you better. In the meantime, I recommend reviewing the configuration examples in the links below, which might be helpful depending on your specific needs:

Best regards,

Want to turn off the VLAN.
I have a network device (phones) that has a problem, if there is a VLAN in the network it does not receive an IP address from DHCP or by static mode.

Hello,

Could you please provide screenshots from the Network → VLAN and Network → LAN (press “Edit” on the LAN interface) pages? By default, on the RUT241, it’s not necessary and not recommended to disable existing VLANs (VLAN1, VLAN2) for LAN devices to obtain an IP address from the DHCP server. The key is ensuring DHCPv4/v6 is enabled on your LAN interface.

If your devices still cannot get an IP address, I recommend performing a factory reset. More information can be found here: RUT241 Factory Reset.

If you need further assistance or have additional questions, feel free to reach out.

Thank you for providing the screenshots.

Your settings look correct. Based on your previous description, I assume your phone connected to the router’s WiFi AP isn’t receiving an IP address or internet access. Could you confirm if devices connected to the LAN via cable can obtain an IP address? Additionally, does the issue persist after performing a factory reset?

If the issue continues, I’ll send you a form to fill out. Please use “9687” as the ticket ID, and once submitted, we’ll contact you privately to investigate and troubleshoot the issue further.
