We have a kiosk device which has a RUT241 router. The problem is we can’t access the management interface to configure setting for the SIM card. We tried the admin / admin01 user + pass combination, but it did not work. We also tried resetting the device multiple times, but still not able to connect. Can you help us please find the default admin password?
The MAC address of the device on LAN interface: 20:97:27:30:09:ba
So why don’t you have a record of the default password? Lets face it, if you own the device doing that is basic data management
Password should be engraved on the bottom of router.
@Mattk lets face it, if you comment on the internet trying to look all smug, maybe you should consider other facts, like I did not buy the router and I do not have the packaging since the kiosk was provided for me and I have to solve a problem.
@hrtx where exactly? None of the texts on this work as the password. I don’t have the original packaging, and the people who set up the kiosk will not be able to answer at least until next week.

@hrtx ah, ok. The router was fixed with screws on a mount, that’s why I couldn’t access the back. I unmounted the router and unscrewed the support and I could open the password on the back. Thank you very much!
@zeus The fact remains it still comes down to poor management and/or documentation and it quite surprising the number of users that request original passwords especially considering the default admin passwords have to be changed on initial powerup?
