Help me select a good solution for mounting a router outside

Hello,

The antenna selection depends on environmental factors. The higher the dBi number of the antenna, the higher the gain, but less of a broad field pattern, meaning that the signal strength will go further but in a narrower direction. Higher gain is not automatically better - it depends on the application. If you do not intend to point the antenna in a particular direction, then no need for much gain but if you intend to point the antenna in a particular direction then need to choose antenna with a higher gain.

I would advise you to take a look at our outdoor routers OTD140 or OTD500. Both are IP 55.

OTD140 Antennas specifications: 2 x 698 - 960 / 1710 - 2690MHz, 50 Ω, VSWR <3, gain <4.5 dBi, omnidirectional

OTD500 Antennas specifications: 4 x 617 - 960 / 1695 - 2690 / 3300 - 4200 / 4200 - 5000MHz, 50 Ω, VSWR <3.5, gain <4.9 dBi, omnidirectional

Also we have these outdoors antennas for RUT9, RUT2 series, RUTX50 and RUTM50, the same as for the RUT X11 and RUTM11 routers:
