Hello, I am using Fmb920 which updates on the tracking platform once in a while yet the update interval is set to 30,180 sec.
On the FATO it updates well and in real time.
Any assistance to solve the problem is highly valued

Hi,
Good Day,
Thanks for writing to us.
You mentioned that you configured 30 and 180 seconds, correct? Please confirm for which mode these values are configured — are they set for both Stop and Moving modes? Also, please check the Home, Roaming, and Unknown mode settings, as incorrect configuration there may prevent the device from sending data properly to the required platform.
I suggest checking all settings under Data Acquisition in the configuration. Additionally, please make sure from the operator/SIM provider side that the server IP or domain address is correctly whitelisted.
You also mentioned that the device is connecting properly over FOTA in real time. Could you please confirm the configured FOTA connection interval? For example, is it set to connect every 30 minutes, or are you manually triggering the connection using the web_connect command?
Thanks
Ashutosh S.
I have mentioned the same problem FMB 2G devices stuck on cell tower for hours — configuration tips before migrating to FMC 4G?
Hi,
As per the image shared, I can see that the Minimum Period for the stopped state is configured as 3600 seconds , and Minimum Saved Records is set to 2 . This means the device will wait until at least two records are generated before sending data to the server. Therefore, in the stopped state, data may be transmitted only after approximately 7200 seconds (2 hours) .
Similarly, for the moving state, the Minimum Period is configured as 300 seconds and Minimum Saved Records is also set to 2 . In this case, the device will wait for at least two records before sending data to the server.
To increase the reporting frequency, you can try setting Minimum Saved Records to 1 and reducing the Minimum Period values for both the moving and stopped states. This will allow the device to send records to the server more frequently.
Thanks
