FMB920 Forward SMS [Feature Request]

Hi friends!

I am a new user of several FMB920 devices.

Overall I am very happy, but there is one feature that is very much missing :frowning:
(devices from other manufacturers have them)

FMB920 has great possibilities and seems to be perfectly designed, which is why I am surprised by the lack of the function of Forwarding incoming SMS to a defined number.

Use case:
My mobile operator provides an online management panel (account management, SIM card settings, depositing funds, etc.).
The problem is that in order to log in to this panel it sends an authorization SMS.

This is a huge problem = I have to wait for my company vehicle to return to the company, then take out my FMB920, then open the casing, take out the SIM card, put the SIM card in a regular phone to receive the sms, etc., etc… This is very inconvenient and discourages me from using FMB920 in the future :frowning:

Additionally, my operator sends important information via text message.

Please consider adding this functionality…

@Maynard
I’m sorry to say that I sent this report a long time ago and I didn’t get any response :frowning:
That’s why I wrote here.

I see that you are an official moderator. Can I ask you to send this report through your internal company channels? Please

Hi @Maolo68

Thank you for your response. Implementing special features on the device depends on the client. To proceed, please contact the sales manager or, if you have access, reach out to our Helpdesk and provide the details of your requirements. The process can be done through custom firmware development.

Best Regards

This is not a special function that will be useful only for me and requires creating custom firmware.

I am sure that such a function will be useful for many users (there have been such questions here).
You can certainly add such a function to the publicly available firmware.
