Firmware version TRB1_R_00.07.22 issue related to OpenVPN/Server in TAP mode

Hi, the report concerns a bug in the latest firmware TRB1_R_00.07.22 of the TRB140 router.
The OpenVPN connection does not work for the new firmware TRB1_R_00.07.22 in TAP (bridge) mode.
The OpenVPN server startup status is always Down.
I have checked the same OpenVPN settings (server / TAP) for firmware TRB1_R_00.07.21.3 and everything works perfectly there.
Please check whether TRB1_R_00.07.22 contains a bug.

Hello, everything is actually OK because the Static key for OpenVPN/Server in TAP (bridged) mode has been replaced with TLS authentication. Before configuring OpenVPN, you need to complete three steps related to certificate generation in the System > Administration > Certificates section:

  1. Generate the Certificate Authority (CA) Certificate & Key

  2. Generate the Server Certificate & Key

  3. Generate the Client Certificate & Key

The details are described here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/TLS_Certificates

The OpenVPN/Server configuration in TAP mode itself is very similar to the previous setup with a Static key. Of course, it changes from the Certificates configuration section, but it is intuitive and simple once we prepare these certificates in advance.
