I have a lot of RUT240 deployed and some of them have Quectel EC25-E internal modem. These are not able to connect to our LTE operator network when private APN setting is configured, for any firmware after RUT2_R_00.07.02.5 , anything before this firmware is okay, and this firmware itself is okay - but I have not found any firmware after this to work properly.
Is there any known issues with Quectel EC25-E, and is there perhaps an internal modem firmware I can install to get past this problem, so I can use the newer RUT240 firmwares as well?
Currently most of the failing units have this modem firmware: EC25EFAR02A08M4G
Those who are not failing seem to have the “EC25-EC” modem, but this is supposedly the same as EC25-E? At least there is no EC25-EC modem on Quectels website.
They are on another modem firmware completely, although they look similar: EC25ECGAR06A09M1G_01.001.01.001
I have set one of the failing RUT240 up on newest firmware RUT2_R_00.07.06.3 with private APN setting on so it can generate some event logs, and I will be able to share them if needed.
