I bought RUT200010000 device. It is installed at the site of the customer.
However, I wanted to test out the RMS platform. I also purchased a 1 month license for that from the retailer. Currently I haven’t done anything with the code which sits in my e-mail.
I enter the Name: String; Serial number; LAN MAC number; Password: Dummy!1234@sfd
Device is registered at RMS cloud. However, it is not activated. Error states: Failed to verify your password. 114 2024-09-02 10:49:33. I enter the same password and I get error. What am I doing wrong? This is ridiculously complicated.
Device is up and running at the customer site. I can get inside my PC via Teamviewer.
Could you please confirm that you are entering the same password as the one used for the WebUI? I suggest changing the password to something simple and then testing again to see if you still encounter the same error when trying to register the device on RMS.
If your device’s RMS connection type is “Enabled”, the device will try to connect to RMS every 2-5 minutes, if it isn’t connected already. If the device hasn’t connected to RMS in 14 days, it will go into “Standby” mode. In “Standby” mode, the device tries to connect to RMS every 6 hours, if it isn’t connected already. If your RMS connection type is “Disabled”, the device will not connect to RMS. In order to connect immediately, you can go into your device’s RMS settings and press “Connect”.
You can close this window anytime, your device will be added and continue connecting. Once your device has connected, its status will change to “Online”.
No.

Failed to authenticate the device. Please, check your device’s password and resubmit it in the verify device password form.
I used the same password as on my WebUI. All the serial number and LAN MAC number information entered is correct. What should I do next?
“Please check device’s password” refers a little bit that the device itself has password? Although I know it refers to password entered, I need to ask from you. Was there any passwords on the device by default?
When registering device to RMS, please use the same password as you have set in the WebUI. The device also has a default password, which you can find on the back panel of the device.
As mentioned earlier, I recommend changing the current password to a simpler one in the WebUI. To do this, go to System → Administration → User Settings. After changing the password, please register the device again to RMS using the new password to see if this resolves the issue.
It’s challenging to pinpoint the issue if the password and all other information you’ve entered are correct. To proceed, I will need some sensitive information about your device so that I can contact the RMS administrator for further assistance.
I have sent you a form to complete. Once you have filled it out, I will contact you privately. For the ticket ID, please use “7571”.
