The reason I ask is what Retiring the Mozilla Location Service · Issue #2065 · mozilla/ichnaea · GitHub explains, although IEEE 802.11mc - Wikipedia explains better. I would like to be able to utilize this feature to contribute to such a service should I want to. I’ve particular interest in whether the RUTXR1 supports it, although I’m expecting to be disappointed.

I’m sorry to inform you that currently none of our devices, including the RUTXR1, have this feature. The 802.11mc feature is primarily designed for home automation or assistant functions. Our routers are primarily developed for industrial applications, where the location of other devices is determined through different methods or by the end devices themselves.
